| BOURBONNAIS, IL – The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District is seeking proposals from qualified electronic sign vendors for the replacement and installation of a new outdoor LED message sign at Fire Station No. 1, located at 1080 Armour Road in Bourbonnais.
The project includes the removal and environmentally responsible disposal or recycling of the Fire District's existing electronic sign and the installation of a new full-color LED display on the current monument sign structure.
The new sign will serve as an important communication tool for the Fire District, allowing staff to share emergency preparedness information, community announcements, public safety messaging, recruitment opportunities, and other important updates with residents and visitors.
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, safety equipment, and associated services necessary to complete the project. The proposed sign system must meet detailed specifications established by the Fire District, including dual-sided full-color digital displays, wireless connectivity, staff training, and a comprehensive warranty package.

The Fire District anticipates awarding the contract at the Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for June 23, 2026. Project work is expected to begin no later than August 1, 2026, with completion required within thirty (30) calendar days following the Notice to Proceed.
The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to award the contract in the best interest of the Fire District.
