ISO Class 3Y applies to properties beyond 1,000 feet of a fire hydrant but within 5 road miles of a recognzied fire station.

New Career Members Sworn In

The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District recently welcomed two new fire-fighter/paramedics to the Fire District. On April 23rd at the monthly trustees meeting, Senior Trustee Paul Grzelak swore in Lucas Schjbal and Dan Hill to the career ranks of the fire district. At the September 26th, 2023, Board of Trustees meeting, action was taken and approved to declare a 2008 Horton Ambulance as surplus equipment. Furthermore, the Board of Trustees have authorized the Fire Chief begin accepting bids for the unit. The ambulance sits on a 2008 International 4300 chassis and is powered by a DT466.
